This was one of the trickier soldering jobs I've done.

The wire broke off its pad on this tiny video camera which measures less than an inch across.

I had to make a special heat sink out of some aluminum scraps to hold the wire as well as keep the chip cool.

It also helps to use tiny filed down soldering tip if you don't have the special lab quality type with temperature control.

And here is the finished successfull repair.

This is a project I call the Temporal Trans..Later. I scratch thru to circuit board traces leading to the display and rearrange them.

It still works but mixes up the charecter segments making it look like an alien language.
