The hexipod is a project I am working on with BillCraig .I'm basicly designing and doing most of the building of the body and he creates the brain .The whole thing is made of the blue foam (extruded polystyrine)and covered in kevlar and composites .We have all the foam parts made and most of all the molds and most of the other hardware minus the expensive linear actuators .
The photos below are of the making of the leg segment. I'm using a router to carve out the space for the reinforcment strips and mounting supports.
