This is the unfortunate page of evidence of the person who has been pulling into my driveway after dark only to quickly turn around and leave when open the door. I have not been able to get out quickly enough to get a lisence # YET but with my new cameras I'm hoping to change that. As you can tell by the photos of the tire tread impressions it is the same person each time. This morning while I was up working on my grant application he did it again, at 3:45 AM!!!. I am the only person on this street full time and all the other part time residents have been hit several times each. I should probably set up some sort of bait like one of my non-functional tools so that the cameras can catch them in the act so the cops have something to charge them with. Man I hate this paranoia crap and it sucks extra bad when you do in fact know that they are out to get you. Oh, and did I mention the band from Boston that sent me the add request on MySpace with the photo at the bottom. The text reads "I'm gonna kill you".....Aaaa the friends you find on myspace.
Update just a few weeks later this happend: http://www.kxan.com/global/story.asp?s=8771711 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The story details the shooting of a 25 year old that was removing someones air compressor from their carport just a few blocks from my house. Differant vehicle but the name is similar to someone about the same age I stopped when he drove down my street just after I moved in and a few days after my neighbor's house was cleaned out of all valubles. He said he was lost but that was hard to believe when I had seen him parked at his freinds house just one street over. I don't condone killing but when the local cops say they can't do anything unless they catch them in the act(they would'nt even bother dusting for prints) it leaves a home owner with very few options for protecting their own property. Good video and maybe a taser armed robot to keep the guilty from getting away......?
