I was wanting to get around to making some better blade guides for years but it usualy takes something like this to motivate me.

This is one of the situations where I spend the time to work out the details in 3D CAD.

It worked out much better but with this design I have to add an extra set of bearing when using a thicker blade. On the upside I get an extra inch of cutting depth.
